Terrain Generation and Rendering
Terrain Generation is a rendering software that generates shaded images of generated archipelagos.
This project was made in spare time over a small period of time. The program generates a heightmap using Perlin Noise, then does some basic calculations to shade the terrain and save the image. There are several variables that can be tweaked to change the result, including scale, resolution, and location.
